I have been waiting to share these photos until Kathy received her mother's day gift.
Now that she has I want to share some cute pictures of some of my favorite little ones!
We went to the zoo to take these~ so you can imagine the looks on peoples faces when we were all dressed up and taking pictures! I think they turned out great! ~who cares what people think!!:)
Enjoy~
Sorry this is the longest slide that I have done, but I know you will love them all! They are so sweet I could not pick a few!
We got new carpet last week and we love it!!
Who would have thought that shag would be cool again!

This weekend was full of great things!
New carpet, Noah turned 1, Amber turning 30, and then off to the lake to see Popa, T, and the Garrison gang . Maymie did all kinds of fun things~ She got in the hot tub - went under (on her own) went on the boat loved every minute!
We did miss Daddy!!! Some of my favorite times when I was a child was being at the lake! I am so glad that Maymie will have the chance to make some great memories! Thanks for having us!! Here are some pictures of our great times!!
Enjoy~ m
Yesterday was a very crazy day! We started going and did not stop. Here are some pictures of the Guthrie Gang holding Baby Marleigh.
I have also added a guest book. You can add a picture and a little about yourself. It is at the bottom of the page. Have fun!
Enjoy!
Today we went to the splash pad with Austin and Ginger!
We had so much fun.... Water water everywhere!!!
Enjoy!
Austin and Maymie had a great time at the Bounce Factory!
Today we had a great day that was full of adventures! Church, lunch, baccalaureate(Maymie enjoyed seeing the girls at school as always!), a little nap, then off to Avery's 3rd birthday bash!! We had a break through at Avery's house. Avery got a big slide for her birthday and Maymie went down the big slide!!! We were thinking maybe it just at her house, but when we got home she went down hers!! Daddy was very excited all that hard work is now getting put to good use~ at least for today! Sunday's are always better when Daddy does not have to work! Enjoy the pictures of the party! It was such a pretty day!
love~m
Today we went to the park to have lunch, feed the ducks and celebrate Marleigh turning one month!! The weather was just right. The only thing that we were missing was a whiffle ball and bat. We had a cherry snow cone that was very tasty! Thanks for the great day guys!!
Enjoy!!
To make the slide show stop move your mouse over top the picture:)
In Matt's words one more thing that goes in the garage! This is sweet ride!! Maymie had lots of fun and it was great exercise!! I wish there where not so many hills around the house:)

When Leigh and I were little Dad would take us to Chucky Cheese ever weekend. We loved it!!! Today's Chucky Cheese is a little different... When I told Dad that we went to Brysons birthday party at Chucky Cheese his first question was... did you see the big Gorilla on the stage? I think the Gorilla was when it was Showbiz. I remember the place being so big. It is funny how things seem to so small when you get older. Maymie had a blast and I thought we would never use all her tokens. She wanted to slide down this little slide that took no tokens. Thanks to Jamie for the pictures, if you can believe it I did not have my camera---I am slipping!!
Enjoy! I have to confess I think that Maymie is not afraid of people that are dressed in costumes-- I told her it could be daddy in there just like Easter bunny!!
Maymie and Caymin

People say all the time I wish that I could take Maymie's energy and bottle it. Wonder if we run around all day wild and crazy! We are already tried when we do our normal things. Oh to be a little one again!!
Maymie is holding her "lips" (chapstick) as she likes to call it. She loves putting on lips. Julie sent me this email and every time she ask for my lips I think of this.... Enjoy!
So, we had this great 10 year old cat named Jack who just recently died. Jack was a great cat and the kids would carry him around and sit on him and nothing ever bothered him. He used to hang out and nap all day long on this mat in our bathroom. Well, we have 3 kids and at the time of this story they were 4 years old, 3 years old and 1 year old. The middle one is Eli. Eli really loves chapstick. LOVES it. He kept asking to use my chapstick and then losing it. So finally
one day I showed him where in the bathroom I keep my chapstick and how he could use it whenever he wanted to but he needed to put it right back in the drawer when he was done. Last year on Mother's Day, we were having the typical rush around and try to get ready for Church with everyone crying and carrying on. My two boys are fighting over the toy in the cereal box. I am trying to nurse my little one at the same time I am putting on my make-up. Everything is a mess and everyone has long forgotten that this is a wonderful day to honor me and the amazing job that is motherhood. We finally have the older one and and the baby loaded in the car and I am looking for Eli. I have searched everywhere and I finally round the corner to go into the bathroom. And there is Eli. He is applying my chapstick very carefully to Jack's . . . rear end. Eli looked right into my eyes and said "chapped." Now if you have a cat, you know that he is right--their little butts do look pretty chapped. Frankly, Jack didn't seem to mind. And the only question to really ask at that point was whether it was the FIRST time Eli had done that to the cat's behind --or the hundredth. And THAT is my favorite Mother's Day moment ever because it reminds us that no matter how hard we try to civilize these glorious little creatures, there will always be that day when you realize they've been using your chapstick on the cat's butt.
I slowed the video down check it out again!
To all the Moms

Maymie is working on saying her own prayers. They are so sweet!! I was very lucky to tape one that was at dinner. Listen closely is starts off by thanking for the food, Kayla (Austin's dog), then Pop (Austins Grandad), Stacey and her kids(I think she means her baby), then Leigh and Marleigh. It is funny how she has turned her night prayer that we say together into her own version no worries we do pray for the rest of our family. Enjoy and make it a great day! ~m
Today was so pretty we had to get out and play! I told the girls that we were going to get a surprise! I lathered them up in sunscreen, into the bathing suits then out the door we go.... Maymie kept saying we going to the swimming pool... well not the pool but we did get into some water!!
Yesterday Leigh and I saw this princess hop stock sprinkler. I knew they would have a blast... and they did!! Maymie talked me into going through and she is wild cause that water was cold!!! Hope you enjoy!! ~m

It is funny how to one it is a weed, but to another it is a beautiful flower. To Matt and I the clover flowers are not the ideal flower that we want in the yard. Maymie on the other hand thinks that they are great. So I thought I could at least make them into something that was cute. I made a necklace and then she wanted two matching bracelets. Then before my eyes the weeds turned into beautiful flowers! It is funny how little ones can change how you
look at the world that can be full of weeds!!!
Enjoy with love

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
Audrey Hepburn:
“For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and remembered; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.”
