Welcome to the world Liam!
One strong friend of mine had a beautiful little boy!
Candace and Tom welcomed William Kale Hockensmith (Liam) into the world
April 27, 2008 9:56 pm he was 7 pounds and 8oz and was 21" long.
He is so sweet! Candace is very strong she tried her best to get him out, but he was not entering the world -- so she had a C-section and with a little help out he came.
Candace and Tom are doing great a little tried--
welcome to the wonderful world of having a child!

The waiting game...
So one of my favorite saying is patience a virtue.
What is Patience....
Patience is quiet hope and trust that things will turn out right. You wait without complaining. You are tolerant and accepting of difficulties and mistakes. You picture the end in the beginning and persevere to meet your goals. Patience is a commitment to the future.

Waiting to find out the sex of your unborn born child -- patience
Trying to explain why you did not want to find out -- patience
Either way you cannot change the sex, there are few true surprises in the world, and most of all it drives all your loved one crazy!:)
Have you ever thought we might know:) -- well we don't.
Not knowing when your child is coming into the world-- patience
You could be anywhere - church, Kroger, preschool, in bed, driving your car, eating out-- are you going to be that person whose water breaks when your out? How are you going to explain that to your almost 4 year old--
well no honey Mommy did not pee everywhere-- well OK yea I did pee --lets just leave it that
Walking through the baby department and hearing WOW when you walk by from someone -- oh yes he was referring to my belly -- and not stopping to either slap him or start crying -- patience
Not killing your husband even though he has not done anything wrong,
but cannot seem to do anything right -- patience
Matt is such a wonderful person~ but for some reason he cannot blink right- people say your the hardest on the ones that you love-- well I LOVE YOU BUD!
Patience is a funny thing -- you just have to wait and know that God knows better than you!
I love being pregnant it is such a wonderful blessing to have a child and we are so excited about Maymie getting a sibling. Even though she is also excited her world is about to be ROCKED!
I promise to let everyone know when we are on our way -- until then patience!!

Maymie's Pretend Bitrhday!
Since Maymie's birthday is during the summer she got to pick a day to celebrate her birthday. We decide that it would be better to go ahead and do in case the baby came. She was the line leader (which is HUGE!) she picked out the birthday stamp, and got to say the prayer all by herself (which was SO CUTE!). We had cupcakes and ice cream with sprinkles.
She had a great day and enjoyed her pretend birthday!

Marleigh's big day!
We helped celebrate Marleigh's b-day with some spaghetti and cake. Aunt Leigh Leigh was so nice to make Maymie a small cake and she even got candles to blow out! Maymie had lots of fun with Marleigh as always! Marleigh seemed to enjoy her cake--she even gave herself a new hair style! Maymie is just like her parents she was ready to run the bath water as soon as Marleigh touched the cake. Hope you enjoy!

Wow it has been a year!

It seems just like yesterday we were at the hospital waiting for her to come.

Playing outside
Friday we enjoyed the weather and played outside. Maymie loves being outside it is like pulling teeth to get her back inside. Matt is working hard on the yard I think it is his way of nesting. We went to the doctor I am still the same I am at a 2. I am glad we have so many b-days this week we need some space between all of them. Letting Butterfly cook a little more is not bad either! We have done lots in Butterflies room. I feel more relaxed and not so rushed! Hope all is well!

Today we went to the monkey tree house with some friends.

Where does the time go?
So your pregnant for 9 months. That seems to be a good enough time to prepare for all the things to come- right? Well then why do I feel that I have not done anything the in the past 256 days! I keep telling myself we moved into a new house and got Maymie's room ready a week before she was born so there is no worries!-- Well now that it is getting closer and I am progressing along- I am getting nervous. We did go to Kandace's and got pictures taken- so I guess since that is out of the way the baby could come! I will post some when she gets done with them! Time goes so quickly-- I cannot believe that Maymie is almost 4 and we about to have another blessing! Please remember us in your prayers!

Day at the zoo!
Monday was so pretty we enjoyed the day at the zoo with Ginger and Austin! I even got a little sun on my arms! Ginger would not let me touch the wagon- I think she was scared that I might go into labor at the zoo. They tried and tried to climb a tree- one day soon they will be jumping from trees! Austin and Maymie have so much fun together- it is always hard to say goodbye after such a great day! Thanks for a great day!

Car wash!
Sunday was so pretty we stayed outside and played until we had to go to the banquet. Thanks to Matt & Maymie for washing the car. They did a great job!! Maymie wanted to wash- I tried to tell her it is so much more fun to spray the water. She will learn soon to let Daddy wash so she can play with the water!!!
