Only Maymie...

So this week is VBS at church. Most children are excited when they get a new shirt well not Maymie-- well unless it is pink! So the first night Maymie has on a cute outfit with pink bows. They give her the shirt and ask if they can put it on her...
She said no thanks it does not match my hair bows.---- I have created a monster!!!! So tonight I put the shirt on her before we get to church and braid her hair with hair bands-- no bows! We are walking into the building and she is yelling
I DON'T WANT TO WEAR THIS!!
I am smiling walking by everyone. Someone says she dose not have to wear it--- I am thinking -yea and be the only one not wearing it. Well I go pick her up and guess what... she has talked the teacher into taking it off because it did not match her hairbands! Oh yes the only one not in her t-shirt!! Leave it to my little princess!!!
So tonight I made her some black hair bows. We will see if this works!!
Here are some shots of her playing at Grammy and Grandpas...

07-07-07

So today was a blast!!
Maymie enjoyed herself all day long!
We went to eat at Charley's (as she likes to call it leaving out the O'). The waiter gave her a piece of Carmel pie. I think Daddy loved it just as much as she loved the cool whip on top. Then back home for a rain shower then the party started!! We rented a blow up bouncy house with a slide!! Maymie thought
that was one of her gifts and wanted it to stay forever!!~ She stayed inside that thing all the time during the party!! The people from Boing Boing Inflatables were great if you ever need to rent one!! When I get all the pictures I will post them. Love to all!!
Happy Birthday Maymie!! It is so hard to believe that she is 3~~~
After the long day is could not even make it through one book~~ she was out!!!
07-07-07 was a great day!!!!

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Audrey Hepburn:
“For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and remembered; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.”
