VBS!!!

The kids enjoyed VBS at church this week. Every year the t-shirt has been the biggest struggle with Maymie. So I really pumped her up about how cool the t-shirt was going to be! She was good with it this year and no struggle-- Thank you Lord!!! Marleigh came with us on Wednesday and had the best time!

Maymie, Charley, and Ellie

15 months!

So wow Madden is 15 months! Time is just flying by! Last month he cut some new teeth and they are just now coming in all the way. He has 3 on the bottom and top front and two in the bottom back. He does have more that are trying to cut through not there yet. He loves to answer NO. If you ask him are you ready for bed--No, can I have a hug--No, did you sleep good--No most of the time doing whatever you asked, but saying No. We are working hard on Yes mam, and adding the mam to the no:) He falls all the time and looks like he has been in a fight-- and got whipped! Enjoyed his bike ride! Loves to act like he is swimming in the tub. Can follow directions like put Maymie's cup back on the dresser. Loves to run from you but waits for you to catch him. Loves to say Boo! Still loves his blue and not fond of milk. Loves to eat and Never gets full! Loves to be outside! Loves animals! He is getting so big way to fast!!

Bike ride!

We were working hard at the house getting the bikes ready for a ride! You know me and all my contraptions- as Matt likes to call them. The kids helped get the new gear ready.

OK so we set off. Madden was out like a light. Get the boy moving and he is asleep! Maymie was a little worried cause she had to shift her weight on the bike, but I was doing all the peddling. We got about a mile or so away and her tire was locked. We tried to get it fixed, but it was not going to turn. A nice neighbor even came out and asked if we needed help. I tried to ride Matt's bike but his seat was so high. So we decided that Maymie and I would stay put and the boys would go get the truck. We played duck duck goose--(yes just the two of us) and waited for the guys. Well to say the least our first trip was not the best:) Maybe next time it will be better!

At the lake...

We went to the lake and enjoyed some great food(--as always), some great times, and some good laughs! Thanks for having us up Popa and T!! The kids loved being together with you!!

Madden was so excited to wake up and see the dogs!!
