New Years Eve I decided that Madden was going to get his cute curls trimmed. Well when Matt got there he said no no we are getting them cut! So I gave in and he got his first haircut!
He enjoyed a milkshake while he was getting his hair done.

Well this year there was no puke so all was good!

This year with Santa was very different. Every year Santa comes to Matt's Hardware store. Well this year he did not come. So our experience with Santa was very different! Madden, Marleigh, and I went the mall to see Santa. Madden loved him at ChickfilA, but when it was out turn-- not so much! As you can see I ended up in the picture! After the photographer to the picture he said would like to take it again?? I asked Marleigh and she said NO way! So this was the first attempt:)
So here goes attempt number two...
The Macy's Santa was at the mall. Julie told us about it so we headed that way. Yes all 6 of us! The kids did great waiting and were excited to see him...until it was our turn. Thanks Julie for taking our picture! This is something we will look back on and laugh...I think the boys were the loudest ones there. The elf's were trying to make things better...we had the place laughing!

I love this one-- The boys want nothing to do with him and then look at my sweet Maymie. She is smiling like she does not hear anything!

So wow another month has gone by! Madden gets wilder by the day! He is talking more each day. Sometimes you can tell what he is saying and other we just nod:) He still loves to watch Bolt and loves his blue! His new thing is Buzz Lightyear! He has Woody and Rex. He likes Woody's hat, but he does not compare to Buzz. He like to read well just when Leigh is around! He is still a good eater, but still no taking to milk. I think his favorite word is COOKIE! When he wakes up most mornings the first thing he asks is Wre Mas??? That is where is Mason?? He is into everything and anything. And does not hear the word NO. I think he takes after Popa... he has selective hearing:) He is a hugger and his hugs are so sweet!! Each day is adventure with is little guy!!! and we a LOVE it!!!
He thought he was SO funny!! He came into the kitchen with this on his head saying Mommy Mommy!!
He loves anything that he should not have!! This goes to one of Maymie's new toys!
