Well I have two almost not so funny stories!
1st- Maymie is into making up stories about anything. We were all outside and Matt was about to mow the grass so Maymie and I went inside so we would not be in the way. She started playing so I sat down a the computer and was checking email. Maymie come over to the back door where the computer is and looks outside. She starts one of her stories- well I thought --she asks whats Daddy doing outside- I replied he is about to mow. She said no what him doing outside naked! I said naked? Then she says what him doing outside naked by a fire. At this point I wanted to see for myself- so I look up and sure enough Matt is the barn with his shirt off putting out a fire. I open the door and start asking are you ok do I need to do anything- while Maymie is yelling what you doing outside naked! Matt finally looks up when the fire goes out and says Miss the lawn mower was on fire! No worries even though he has gallons of gas right out there! Thankfully the mower started up and everything was good to go! Matt naked and all- in Maymies words!
2nd- Matt and I were in bed watching TV and the wind blew very hard and it sounded like something brushed up against the window. Matt was almost sleeping and I rolled over and said are you going to look and see what that was. He gets up and looks out and says I do not know maybe a limb is down. Matt and I have is little joke about limbs being down in the yard. His family loves to play with the chainsaw- it does not matter if the limb is only as big as my leg! He decides to go down and take another look. I hear the door and then I hear him running up the steps- like someone was after him. He says there is a huge limb down- putting on shorts to go outside. I was thinking yea right - he says you have to see this. Well it is not a limb it is half of a tree! If it would have fallen the other way it would have hit our main electric wires and us! The only things we could do is laugh about how we had a limb down! Matt is so excited about cutting it up!! Here is a picture of the big limb!

Thankfully God was looking after us and we are all safe and I got to tell the almost not so funny stories-
