Maymie I have named Madden little man.
It is so funny to hear Maymie say where is little man or what are we going to do with little man.
She has so much fun playing, pulling, or kissing him.
He is so sweet!!!
So most know that I LOVE DQ cakes, well the other day I was watching TV and almost died laughing at this commercial. I looked and looked for it on the Internet and could not find it so I taped it off the TV. This was the only thing missing from Madden's birth plans.
Enjoy:)
Can you believe I made it into a picture with two of the sweetest children that I know!!!
So I found out that May 8th was going to be muffins with mom I was so sad. Since that was my due date I thought I would miss it and my heart was sad! But here again God had a plan and he worked it to where I got to go! It was such a sweet time. Maymie served me muffins and juice on a place mat with her picture on it

and even had a special gift for me.
It was a picture frame with her hand prints and a poem.

I could only make it through the first line cause it was so sweet before tears were filling up my eyes. Of corse I think everything that Maymie colors, cuts, ok anything she does is so cute so the art show was very exciting!

Maymie and Avery big buddies!

Matt and Maymie went to the zoo and had a blast! Matt was so excited about the monkey's (
White-cheeked Gibbon) I sent my camera with him and he took some good ones of the monkey. They have had so fun much spending time together-- Daddy time is almost as good as
mommy time:) well probably better she always comes home with
something extra when she is with Daddy! Yesterday after preschool they went Uncle Jake's hardware store and came home with a webkinz (that is a stuff animal)-that she had seen at Cracker Barrel. -- when did hardware stores start selling webkinz's??? -- Ha ha they got Matt!!!
Still Proud of her new title..

Yes this snow cone was all over her by the time she finished it--
good thing I changed her shorts -- I did have white ones on her!

Maymie always has lots of sweet hugs for Madden.

Granddaddy and Anna were married Friday night.
If you would have asked me Wednesday I thought I would
be there snapping pictures!
Matt did snap some, but here are a few a took before he left.
Proud Daddy - with our little man!
Madden was in his going home outfit (thanks Nanny!)
My two handsome fellas!

Daddy's chair is the place to be!!
The wedding:)
Mr. and Mrs. Carter-- Congrats!!

We did get to go home after some time on Friday. Matt got everything loaded up after several trips to the car. I think he was afraid to go anywhere because he had a front row parking place right by the door. He did not like the car seat at first-- not very happy as you can see. The ride home was different than Maymie's ride. I think Matt felt more comfortable driving with a baby. It seemed to take us 5 minutes to get home where as it felt like it took us 5 hours to get there when he was about to be born in the car! He was very quite and slept in the car-- I hope he likes to ride as much as Maymie did. We got to the Governs club and Maymie gave it up as well. So we took to sleeping children into the house. Maymie landed on the couch and Madden in the car seat in the floor. They both slept for over two hours. Matt and I did not know what to do. They were a sleep and we just sat and looked at everyone. I did get to shower-- wow your own shower is the best thing in the world! I should have taken a nap if I knew that I would not get to sleep longer than 30 minutes at a time that night-- oh well live and learn!!

Sorry this a little long- but it is a story I will cherish forever!.....
Maymie and I got ready for preschool. I felt great. I dropped Maymie off at preschool and went to the hospital to see Candace, Tom, and little Liam. Andrea, Amanda, and I visited for a while and I met Dr. Bressman wife. Leigh had her appointment for her check up and Dr. Bressman told her I guess your sister is visiting over at the hospital trying to get admitted--(Ha ha). He told her that he had a wedding Saturday and he would be at the hospital all day Sunday. So after Leigh told me that I had in my mind-- Sunday that will be great I will get to go Granddaddy's wedding and everyone could be there on Sunday. I went to eat lunch with Matt then off to sit and wait on Maymie. I go in and laugh with one of the teachers saying I will be at the room mothers lunch if I do not go into labor-- ha ha- that's not happening I know my body- and nothing is going on. Maymie and I make our way home and go outside to play. We threw ball and I started feeling what I thought were contractions, but if I stood up then they would go away. After about an hour we go inside and the contractions were still there and I thought they were about 5 to 7 minutes apart, but still I thought that it was in my head cause if I stood up then they would go away. Matt came home and I said I know you want to mow, we will eat when you get done. We ate dinner around 7:30. During dinner I could tell that I was having contractions, but again if walked I was fine. We go up stairs and I took a shower felt lots better and then we all ate ice cream in the bed around 8:30. At 9:00 I knew that I was having contractions and they were every 5 minutes. I called Leigh and asked if she could come over-- Mark was not home so she called Dad and T. T came on over. We put Maymie to bed and I called the Dr (which was not Dr. Bressman) and he said well you have two options you can lay down for 30 minutes and drink 24 oz. of water and call me back or just come and get checked out. I said that I had been laying down I think I will just come on. So T gets to the house and I say we might be back-- not realizing that I had been in labor for 6 hours and no I was not coming back! We leave the house at 10:55 pm. I am not the best car rider any ways -- I get carsick very easy so Matt was doing right by hurrying, but before every contraction I felt like I was going to throw up. I said you are going to have to slow down. We called our parents and told them that we would call them when we got to the hospital to let them know if they were going to keep me. We arrive at 11:25 pm --We go and check in and the lady calls triage and tells them I got one doubled over up here and the lady said she will have to wait a minute we are full back here. In the car my contractions were 3 minutes apart and as I sat there I felt like throwing up. The lady at the counter finally gets one of those Hanable Lector wheel chairs and I sat down and I was so uncomfortable I asked if I walk back-- she said I can get you there fast-- so I sat and she did go fast here comes the sick feeling again-- but it was a good thing I did not walk he would have drooped out into the floor! We get to triage and all 3 rooms where empty! I get in the room and try to get undressed all I could get off was my shirt-- I am laying there and the nurse helps me with my pants and then checks me-- she suddenly pulls off her gloves and is throwing the rails up on the bed and is pushing me out of the room telling me I am at a 8-- I about came off the bed I grabbed her arm and said that means I do not get a epidural? She said we will have to see -- still holding her arm I said no no- I need that NOW! In the short ride to the labor and delivery room (30 seconds) I was at a 10! Still telling everyone I need the epidural-- they are saying sorry no time for that as my water breaks. I look at the nurse and her shirt has butterflies and dragonflies on it and the other nurses shirt had just butterflies. I know they thought I was hallucinating when I was trying to explain the story of butterfly. Matt at this point is about to pass out- he gets a coke and his very own nurse! He said that he had never seen so many people in the room-- my favorite was the one he called handing out the "tools"-- like they had wrenches or hammers. All of sudden I have to push, they roll me over -- lets just say I was yelling at this point. The doctor walks in and says hello Missy we spoke on the phone and I am glad that you came in tonight-- I said I cannot do this without drugs! He looks at me and says your going to have to calm down and we can get through this. Thinking he is crazy and he has never felt this pain- Matt thought the Dr. was going to get kicked! He tells me to push and push and yell I did-- the head was out and then I hear OK we have to get the shoulders out-- I said cannot you not just pull it out?? I push and yelled one more time and out pops my sweet little boy who helped make is mom one tough mom at 12:00am!! After it was over the pain was gone just as quick as it had come. Now we are blessed with one beautiful little girl and one handsome little boy! We are very thankful how God was with us and how he has blessed us with so much!

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
Audrey Hepburn:
“For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and remembered; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.”
