We had our soccer tryouts Saturday. I think they went well. They had to dribble the ball around the cones and then kick the ball in the goal, then run back. Maymie was so excited to see lots of her friends. We saw Ava, Kathryn, and Avery which made things go very smooth.

Avery making her way back!!
Look how proud her Daddy is!!!

Leigh goes for her treatment today. She did not get to take it last week. She had a cold and they did not want it to turn into something else.
Some special prayer could go like this....
1 Please pray that the new meds eat the tumor like a hungry person would eat at the golden corral.
2 that her body can handle the meds
and any other thoughts.... mainly to help her get better.
Happy Birthday Uncle Bubba!!!!!

We love you!!!

I am so thankful that I have know her all my life-- which is not 30 years yet:) She is such a great friend and a wonderful mom!!! We have always had so much fun together--to name a few-- riding bikes, playing in the creek, girl scouts, roller skating (finding my tooth:) going on treasure hunts, playing hide in go seek with the dogs, sleeping overs, getting dogs of our own, walks, working out at the rec, to now spending time with our kids together-- you name it we did it or will do it in our next 30 years!! She taught me so many things over the years! Thanks for being in my life and I hope your blessed with many more!!! Love you lots!!!

Hello everyone from the little mouse!!!

So last week we did not get the news that we wanted to hear. The chemo that Leigh was taking was not working-- So they are going to start a different chemo-- instead of 3 weeks on then one off she will be going two weeks on then one off. One week she will get one medicine and then the next week two medicines. Please remember her in your thoughts as today she starts a new journey on the path of kicking cancer! She is a fighter and she is GOING to overcome this!! So we have to have hope and send her our positive energy!!! I love her, those two cutie pies, and Mark so much!! if you did not already know that-- so if you have a minute send a thought up to the Big Guy for my love ones!!!
Holding hands always makes life easier!

Maymie loves to dress up Madden!
Hey mom!!

Wait a minute is there another one in my hair??

Oh -- that silly Maymie!!

Boys in bows are funny, but a sister in shin guards & panties that is not right!

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
Audrey Hepburn:
“For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and remembered; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.”
