Today we hosted the church egg hunt. We had Great weather! I am SO very thankful for that!!! We had a great turn out, and I hope everyone had as much fun as we did!! As you will see Madden is not in any pictures, that sleepy head slept through the party! He went down around 11:45 and did not wake up until 3:45! I guess I know when not to have his birthday party! Thanks to all that came and to Matt for just being him!

Maymie's Easter party was a hit! They enjoyed Chickflia and a fun egg hunt. I was sad that we had to hunt for eggs in the playroom, but hopefully we will have a great warm egg hunt on Wednesday!
We even had a visit from our very special Easter Bunny!!!
I know the bunny suit is hot, but there is nothing like seeing a sweet child's face light up when they see the big bunny!!

After church we celebrated Grandpa's birthday with a yummy meal. Madden was worn out from church and slept for 4 hours-- so he missed most of the party.

I am so thankful that Madden will have a partner in crime -- like Maymie and Ellie!!
It has been two weeks since the rod was put in and she is moving around a lot better. She feels stronger and hopefully soon we can say good bye to the crutch!! She will be continuing the chemo for two more rounds (two months for two weeks on and one off) then they will do scans again. The biopsy showed that some of the cells in the tumor had died, but they do not know for sure if it was because of the chemo or if they just died. I got to go with her this past Thursday thanks to T and Mom for watching the kids. I met the doctor and pulled out questions and I know she was like and you are???? Well little did she know that I am the little sister with lots of questions! Leigh did well as always and our hope is that this will do the trick! Thanks for all you thoughts and prayers!
Monday it was so pretty so I thought it would be nice to go to the zoo! Maymie was in school so the zoo was not as much fun, but we had some friends come with us to make up for the zoo queen!
