The party!!!

Around the Oglesby/Guthrie houses we celebrate birthdays for at least a week. So the big day for the party was Saturday. I am so glad that we decided to have a small party since it was raining. I do not think the kids minded being inside-- I am glad that I turned the dinning room into a playroom-- it was full of excitement! OK about his cake. Leigh and I talked and talked about what his cake should be. Leigh said it has to be a dog. Since he loves saying DOG. Well I looked and looked for a cake that I liked. I was liking the idea of a dog, but I just could not find a cute cake. Then I was looking at different websites and there it was... Moose A Moose. I know your thinking-- WHO?? Well Noggin is about the only channel we watch around these parts. It does not have commercials or ugly cartoons. Moose A Moose is like the narrator. He comes on after/before the shows and sings or talks about shapes colors and all other cool things. Madden will not pay attention to the show, but if he hears Moose A Moose's voice he will come in a hurry. Right when I saw the cake I called Leigh and said Moose A Moose! She agreed that had to be it! So then on to see who would make the cake. Julie said what about Home Style Bakery?? Good call Julie that cake looked so cute and tasted great!!!
Yea for Moose A Moose( click on his name if you want to check him out!!!
I guess we have been very lucky for the past 4 years with Maymie's party's being outside-- this year I might have to rethink her party cause she says she wants to invite 100 people!! HELP!!
Enjoy looking!!!
Peace and quite...

- Madden told me that good news was his birthday wish!

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Audrey Hepburn:
“For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and remembered; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.”
