One of those wonderful days!

You know how you feel when you have had one of those great days? Well for me I have had two in a row! Wednesday it started as a found the perfect vehicle. I was so excited when Justin said we got it!!! I was so excited that I did not want to tell Matt, I wanted to see the look on his face when he saw that I was not driving the Passport (Lots of Thanks to MOM!!). Yes I did lie to him and felt very bad for that, but in the end it was well worth it!!! I took Maymie, Madden, Marleigh, and Mason for the first of many trips to my house to see Matt. Everyone enjoyed the ride except for Mason without me knowing I was playing freeze out and he was the only one without a blanket. Sorry Bubba!! Matt was very excited just like a little kid. I could hardly keep him out of it and I knew that if the kids where not all here it would have been gone this morning! I got to sleep the whole night and when Madden woke he was smiling so I knew he felt better!!! The kids where so good and Nanny came and spent the day with us! No rain so that meant that the game was on for tonight!!! She stayed until the soccer game-- it was nice having her here and I know she enjoyed being with the kids. Popa and Lexee met us at the game and what a game! Maymie scored her first goal!!! I was so excited--
yes there was jumping up and down and yelling (Mom would have been proud).

Mason look in here...

Today when she left I said OK I have giving up on the good luck... so lets just say lets hear some good news!!!! I am so excited and we are filled with so much joy-- hearing good news ROCKS!!!!!!! She will have two more cycles and then radiation. I am so thankful and I know she needed to hear that. The beach can do good things to the soul--- lets go each month:)

Mother's Day Weekend

So this year Mother's day weekend was very different. Friday night I did not feel very good, but I thought it was because I had been on the go and need to rest. Madden was acting like he had a fever. Well Saturday when I got up I felt like I had been beaten! Matt came home around lunch and I went to bed. I stayed in bed until Monday-- I did get out to have a piece of my DQ mommy cake, so I did not get to spend the day with my kids celebrating or my any of my Moms or Grandmoms-- good thing I am blessed to have everyone close so we will have to do something soon!
I hope that you enjoyed your Mom's day-- So Happy Mom's Day to YOU!!!!

Matt and Maymie worked on spreading pine straw on Friday.

Matt helper is more like a boss!

Madden found the bell!!

Madden's 12month check up!

Madden went to the doctor Friday for his check up.

Weight 19.13oz (24%)
Height 29 in. (25%)
HC 18 (45%)
So looks like he is a little guy with a big head! If you were to ask me his head should be in the 20% cause it took me forever to find hats that would fit his little head! He did great at the doctor, he was wild as ever up on the table, but for some reason when Dr. Walters examined him he was as still as a stick. But no worries he was a wiggle worm again when Daddy and Mommy was trying to hold him! He got two shots, but handled them very well.

He is not handling the milk from the sippy cup very well, Matt says he liked that warm milk:) I might have to heat it up until he gets use to it! Loves table food!! One thing is for sure Marleigh and Madden cannot share a kids meal:)They are both to big of eaters!! Marleigh and Madden are so funny together-- today they were licking each others hands & they love to kiss each other!---I little weird!!!
I turned him around in the car and he seems to love that! I think he likes that he can see me now. He stares out the window and looks such like a big boy! He was so excited to see Maymie after school and she was just as excited to see him turned around!
I do miss the other car seat-- he feel a sleep a minute away from picking Maymie up so I had to wake him up-- I have to master the transfer again:)

Also he took about 3 steps today!!!! I think my excitement scared him back to crawling:) Maymie and I tried to get in video but he was not into it. It might not be to much longer now!

Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head!

Maymie found the potato head lips and has not put them down.

Madden also thinks they are oh so cool!

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Audrey Hepburn:
“For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and remembered; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.”
