I had a great birthday! We had birthday dinners all over the place! On my birthday we went to Cheddar's with Dad, Leigh and the kids-We missed Mark, Haley and T --I know T would have much rather been at dinner than at home with a tooth ache! We had a good dinner and the kids had lots of fun!
Big hug for me!!
Dad and all his little ones!!
Then Matt surprised me and asked the Harris, Ladds, and Tants to meet us at Olive Garden. Matt told me we were eating with his parents--I did think that was a little weird since we did just eat with them last night. When we pulled up I said that looks like Jamie's van-- little did I see that Amber's van, and Troys car were all parked together. It was the Camry that threw me off! We enjoyed dinner and thanks for coming!
Jayson, Bryson, and Maymie had lots of fun!!
Madden was all about the cake!!
Troy and his magical powers that he has on our kids. They are always so clam and almost fall asleep when he holds them!

I love birthdays. I think they are the best-- who would not like them--a party, dinner, cake and ice cream-- what more could you ask for in a day?? So why I am so worried about my birthday??? I turn 30 today. I have been dreading this day for a while, but the closer it gets I realize that I am so blessed. I have had 30 healthy years here on earth and everyday is a blessing. I have been blessed with great parents, a wonderful sister, a second set of parents, wonderful relatives, great friends, a loving husband, great in-laws, two wonderful children, fun and happy niece and nephews, a great group of girls that I get to coach--- I think that I need to be thankful for all the great things in my 30 years! I remember when I turned 10 and I kept telling Dad hey do you know that I am going to be the big 10??? I thought turning 10 was so cool cause I was going to be in double digits:) Well 20 years later I need to be just as excited about turning the big 30! So here is to turning 30!!! YEA!!!!
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
Audrey Hepburn:
“For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and remembered; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.”
