At Maymie's school they give out an award called Cardinal pride. To receive this award you have to show respect to your teachers and friends. As a parent you always want to think that your child does this when your away, but you never know. I know that I think Maymie has the sweetest kindest heart, but is she always that way? Well she must be headed in the right direction. They called me the Monday before Wednesday assembly to let me know that she would be getting the award. We kept it a secret and she did not know we were there until after the assembly. She was so excited!
Here she is getting her tag!

Here is the group that received Cardinal Pride for the month!
It was PJ day at school...I had a hard time not sending her in something else, but she picked out some PJ's that Leigh had given her so it made the day perfect!

Thanks Popa and T for coming to see me:)

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
Audrey Hepburn:
“For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and remembered; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.”
