This a long post so if you do not have time to read come back when you have time!
So Stacey asked if the kids and I wanted to go on a little rode trip to see her Mom. I was so excited about going. Her Dad let us borrow his Expedition -- we filled it up with toys, strollers, clothes, snacks, three cute car seats and off we went! We had the best time!!! Joyce and Troy were so thoughtful to open their house up to all of our wildness! Maymie and Madden LoVeD the dogs-- Ryley and Phoebe! Of course one of Maddens favorite word is DOG so he had the chance to say it often! The dogs were great with them, but I am sure they are happy we are gone so they can have the attention:) A lot took place in her kitchen! For starters
lots of yummy food! The kids loved to play in the cabinets. Joyce had a great drawer full of all kinds of treasures!
Wow what did you find???

Uncle Troy #2 as Maymie liked to call him taught them how to throw the lids like Frisbees!

Kelvey getting lots of love!!

Maymie was right in the action!

I found a tray!!!

Everyone slept great! Here they are taking up the bed!!

Day one: Amy came by to do hair. Several women & men in the neighborhood stopped by to get theirs done. What a treat Madden took a nap and Maymie played with Kelvey and I got my hair done!
Here is Stacey getting ready!

Maymie and Ellie coloring on the drive way-- which by the way she told Troy that Ryley did it she just watched him!!

Well little girl I think you told a lie!!!

Maymie has been talking for a while about getting her hair cut short like Leigh's. About how she does not want long hair anymore and she wants to go to the beauty salami --( that's right salami-- after some talking we got the word right Salon- Word Girl would be proud ) .

At first I was sad, but then I thought when Leigh had to cut hers I told Maymie that hair was just hair and that Leigh's would grow back and hair does not make us who we are inside.

I was not sure if she was really ready for the change, but we had the opportunity to get it done so I asked her she wanted a turn at Miss Joyce's beauty salon.

She said yea and I went to the computer to look up
locks for love for the requirements. 10 inches is the requirements-- well she cut 10 inches!! She was so excited and transformed into a little young lady!

She did great she sat still and watched Amy do her thing!!

I am so proud of her and she was so excited that her hair was going to help someone that did not have hair. She asked me if the people were going to sew it to Leigh's head. She was a little confused, about how they were going to make a wig.

This is cool I can see you!!

Wow sister your so pretty!!

Still smiling!!

She was loving this!!!!

Just a few more cuts...
Thanks Amy her hair looks great!!!
Everyone LOVES IT!!

So to top the day off how about a long bath in a great big tubby!!

Little man loves to swim in the tub!!

Kelvey was not sure about my two wild kids!!

Help me!!

Kelvey wondering why she had to share the tub with these two!!

So to say that we had a great first day was a understatement!
Day two was even better! We went and did a little shopping and got some very cute things!! Then off to a fabric store and find some of the cute material!! Not only did we pick out the material, but SuperGrana made Maymie and Madden reversible outfits! Which by the way are SO cute! One is going to be Madden's Birthday outfit!!! That is one huge step towards planing the big party:) Then we were off to the Zoo! The Knoxville Zoo rocks! The kids were so good. Kelvey was sleeping and somehow Stacey has magical powers and transferred her to the stroller so she could snooze a little more:) Madden rode in the stroller and even took a little nap! Maymie walked with a couple of piggyback rides. I have to say the Knoxville Zoo is one of the best zoos we have been too!!
The zoo had so much to see.

The Black bear!

Stacey found a cute hat that fit his head!!!

Look Stacey a rhino!!

This is the Daddy rhino!

Watch out dude he is going to get you!!

River otters!!!

My wing span is not there yet!!

Look Nala and Simba!

This was so cool they were so close!!

Madden checking out the Giraffe.

He was hungry!

The Daddy Elephant!

When animals go wild!!!
Joyce was getting a little close I was scared that the ostrich was going to take the camera away!

Over there is the red river hogs!

What do you think about the zoo Kelvey??

A guys I think it is time for some ice cream!!!

What a great day!!

Back to the house cause the dogs and Uncle Troy missed us!!
