Walk to school and black snack:)

Boo!
Happy Halloween!!!

It was walk to school day on Friday, so we headed out the door and prayed that it did not rain:) Maymie had the best time walking with Madden, Ellie, Max, Caymin, and Carson.

Ellie walked Maymie to her class!!

When Madden and I got back home he wanted to play in the leaves, he had so much fun running around in them. He loved when I would throw them in the air.

We also had black snack at school on Friday. Well I was having a hard time thinking about what I could do that would be cute and black. I searched and search and finally came up with the spider cupcakes and black rice crispy treats. The cupcakes turned out cute, but they looked Maymie helped and it was just Matt and I making them. The kids were excited about them so that is all that matters:)

Somehow I made it to school with no disaster:)
Here was the final product ready to be gobbled up:)

Madden thought it was so funny!

Ivy and Maymie had fun eating together!

18 months!!!

Sweet sweet Madden is now 18 months!! Wow he is totally different than Maymie! He loves to climb...on the table, couch, chairs, ottoman, changing table, basically anything and everything and when he gets tot he top he is usually flipping off it to get down! You cannot turn your back for a minute!! He loves to throw everything. His favorite word is NO. He says umum for yes and while the kids were eating ice cream Maymie taught him how to sign more so he was signing and saying more more:) He loves cookies, well he loves all food--most of the time. He has four front and bottom teeth and I think 2 in the back, he has just cut 3 of his fangs....he is trying to keep up with his cousin (Mason) Count Dracula:) He is a lot of fun and full of energy. He has a personality that is one of a kind... one minute he is saying no to everything and mad then next he is giving the biggest hugs and kisses!

We went to the Dr yesterday and he is a very healthy boy!! 23 lb and 12 1/2 oz (20%) 32 5/8 (55%) inches tall and his head 18 5/8 (40%). Dr. Walters told me oh your going to have it so easy with him at the last visit, well I told him he has no idea what he was talking about...Then he tells me well I meant when he gets to be about 8...WHAT 8 so the next 7 years he is going to be Dennis the Menis??? I know he thinks I am crazy:) When we walk in he gets mad because I would not let him get down, so he is voicing his opinion (aka yelling), then I let him down and he looks up with that sweet smile like haha I got my way...Sandra calls us back he yells YEA and is racing to the room!!! He had everyone laughing!! During the exam he was so still, but before and after he was throwing things off the table, trying to run all over the table, you know the little paper that they are suppose to sit on?...well it was one big ball, stealing pens, the check out sheet, anything that he could get his hands on. I know I will be talking about Maymie's drama later on in life, but at least I will not be worrying that she is going to climb on the roof and jump!
Wild little guy= MADDEN HOLLAND GUTHRIE!!!

He loves his Daddy!!
They were headed out to have a guys day with Popa!

He loves to give great big hugs!!

Hey buddy that is a pumpkin not a ball!!

This is So Madden...he has to throw everything!!!
It looks like Marleigh and Mason are saying NO
and then Maymie is like oh that just Madden:)

He does not look like this every morning, but the other day I cracked up and ran back down stairs to get the camera. When I walked back in the room he was saying CHEESEEEEEEEEE!!!

What are you talking about this is not a bad hair day!

You like this better???

He is a very big help when I do laundry. After he took my basket he was calling me in the kitchen to let me know that he had found some socks:)

Yes I took your basket, but don't I look cute???

I know he is wild but I love my little monkey!!!

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Audrey Hepburn:
“For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and remembered; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.”
