Playroom!!

We have been working on the playroom. It is coming all together. Maymie was a little sad that everything was not pink. We painted the walls a turquoise color and she wanted pink. Matt and I thought that we should do a fun color but maybe something not so girly. So we went on a hunt for a small couch for the room. We came a cross one at Rooms to Go and it was the perfect size. The only bad thing was it was pink. Matt was not thrilled with the idea of Madden hanging out on a hot pink couch. The more I thought about it the more I wanted the pink couch for Maymie, since nothing else was pink. We went to pick it up and she was so excited about her new couch!!! When we got it in the room we both agreed it was perfect for the room! Maymie loves the new playroom and so do I!!!

Matt and Maymie trying the new couch out in the den.
Matt does not look girly sitting on the pink couch!
Real men sit on pink!

Wall to wall full of fun!!!

Maddden does not seem to care that the couch is pink!

The room looks great! It is so nice to keep all the toys isolated to one room. (Yeah right, nice idea huh?) :) Seriously, great playroom. It will get a lot of use!

Who had the idea for the pink couch?

I guess Madden and I will be moving to the garage when he gets a little older. The pink couch will not work soon.

Love you,

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Audrey Hepburn:
“For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and remembered; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.”
