Big smiles!

Funny how things ideas change.... I never thought my daughter would take dance.

Mom--she does I have to watch on Tuesday's!

I never thought that I would sign her up for soccer either. Well yes I have done both!!! She has another year before she can do basketball or softball and I wanted her to do something with a ball!

Mom what you said that Maymie would NEVER play soccer????

And look at her now!!

Yes everything had to be pink!
Matt and I felt a little lost-- we had no idea what to buy. Shin guards-- there are lots of different ones-- even shorts- I know every other sport BUT soccer--this is going to be a learning experience for all of us! Yes she has two different socks on we need to see if they both fit!
She was not a big fan of the shin guards. She could not understand why someone might kick her-- it is not nice to kick!! If she will keep her hands off the ball I think she might be OK!

Maymie you have to dribble with your feet!!

She has a long way to go... This is going to be fun to watch!!

Too Cute!! Love the socks, we have the same two pair! ha:) Also, we learned a little tip with the shin guards that make them more comfortable....put the sock on first and pull it up real high, put on the shin guards and pull the top of the socks down over the guards. So now you have socks under and over the guards. Caymin likes it much better! Soccer is fun! :)

Audrey Hepburn:
“For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and remembered; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.”
