A day for Maymie! ( I added a couple more at the end)

So today was the big day! Maymie is 5 years old!!!
Every birthday we ask her how she would like to spend the day and who she whats to spend it with. Of course Ellie and Marleigh were at the top of the list! First stop the bounce place, then the zoo, and maybe the pool! Leigh had her scans so Marleigh was ready for a fun day. Little did she know that her day was going to be way different than we all thought!

BIG Birthday HUGS!!!

The boys sliding!

My brave little girl!

OK so all that looks like a lot of fun right???? Well you would not know from this picture above, but sweet Marleigh's arm is broken-- that's right broken. They went down ONE slide- one at a time and when Marleigh came down she started to cry. I thought well it scared her-- I asked are you OK she said yes- I ask if she is hurt she says yes-- I ask do you want to play she says yes. If you can gather she says yes to almost everything! They go into another little thing and she cries again I tell her come here and when she does I look at her arm and oh yea, something is going on with he arm. I am already heart broken to have to call Leigh and tell her -- get no answer so I call Mark-- who whats to get that phone call??? I feel awful! Leigh meets up with me and I go with them to Vanderbilt Children's Emergency Room. Just a note if your child gets hurt do not give them anything to eat or drink-- since I gave her some water they had to wait 4 to 6 hours--lovely! I end up taking Mason to my house so he could get a nap. To say the least not how we thought we were going to spend the big day! They set her arm back and she did great-- Leigh said that she did not even get upset when they took the IV out. Another brave little girl! She had it all wrapped up and in a little sling. Poor little thing! I just wanted to hug her and cry! One more thing... she can not get it wet-- that's great when we are going to the beach in a month and not to mention that we have been living at the pool!!! I hope that the next cast will be one that you can get wet. I will not be going back to the bounce place again!!!!!!! I am going to sell the blow up thing that we have-- any takers??? Who would have ever thought???

Matt took Maymie, Ellie, and Madden to Snappy Tomato and then to the zoo.

When I got back home we made cupcakes and i let the girls ice their own cupcake!
We are ready to add the icing!!!

I want a lot on mine!

I love icing!!

Happy birthday to Maymie!!!

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Audrey Hepburn:
“For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and remembered; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.”
